If you are just starting a small candle making business, it is advisable to monitor your cash flow and limit your expenses. You can do this by producing beeswax candles. Making beeswax candles is also a great way to spark the interest of young adults and small kids. It has been said that these candles are great examples of inexpensive items and most likely, the best ones to work with for beginners.

Learn how to make beeswax candles using these simple steps:

1. Get a beeswax sheet and fold it in half. Press it slightly by means of your hands and cut it in two pieces afterwards.

2. Get one of the beeswax sheets and lay it on your work table or surface. Place the wick at the edge of the sheet and provide for a half-inch allowance. Be reminded that the piece of wick should be longer and extends on each side of the beeswax.

3. Once you place the wick, you can now start rolling the sheet. Tuck the edges while you roll it and make sure to seal it in. Roll up your candle slowly until you reached the end of the sheet.

4. Seal the edges by pressing the sheet gently using your fingers. Remember that you have to apply light pressure in sealing the edges of your beeswax candles. Besides, too much pressure will result to cracked candles.

5. Lastly, trim the wick. Leave an estimated ΒΌ inch-long wick at the one end of your beeswax sheet.
